30 Weeks with Baby Crew
More than 3/4 of the way there! I can do it...I can do it! I just have to keep looking forward, and remembering that at the end of this crazy pregnancy, I get another sweet baby boy! It's not that the actual pregnancy has been bad, but I have been SO SICK for the majority of these past several months. I got a cold that turned into an infection and lasted over 3 weeks. Then, RIGHT when I was getting over that (2 z-paks later), I got a stomach bug that just about killed me. 3 full days of eating nothing, and feeling horrible will really take it out of you. So now that I am back to ME again, Ive been trying to take full advantage of enjoying this pregnancy.
Crew is definitely wearing me out by the end of each day, but that's mostly because I haven't had time to slow down at all. I pick up a 30 lb kid all day long, chase him all over the place while I continually pretend that my house is child-proofed enough, and run errands all day trying to get everything together for Baby Crew! But I wouldn't change a single second of my time being a Mommy. I know how lucky I am that I get to spend my days revolved around my boys. :)
Back to Crew...I go back to the dr next week, and I'll be almost 32 weeks. Im definitely maintaining my goal of gaining less weight than with Gavin, probably from being sick so much. But Ive gained about 11 pounds. Dr Kallenberger will schedule my c-section in a few more weeks, which Im thinking will be around Feb 20-22nd. He told me we would have to schedule it at about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks early to make sure I dont go into labor, which Im totally fine with! Hopefully I will get to post nursery pics soon!
Until then...heres me excited for the little man!

Christmas with Grandma
The morning after Christmas, we all put on our PJs and headed to Grandma's house. We ate lots of good mexican food and opened and played with presents all afternoon. Grandma's only goal of the day was for all of us to lay around on her couch and have "family time." I think we accomplished that!

We had such a great day, and it was the perfect end to our Christmas celebrating. I already can't wait for next year when we have 2 more grandkids to make this house even crazier!

Twas the Night Before Christmas...and Xmas
On Christmas Eve, we spent the afternoon with Grandpa at his house. We spent some quality time with everyone, ate crab legs for dinner, opened presents, and then made a quick cameo at church! The kids were all so wound up from present opening and all their fun toys, that we left a little too late to get a seat.

Cookies for Santa
One of my most favorite "home movies" to watch time and time again is when my Mom recorded my sisters and I decorating Christmas cookies at our kitchen table when I was probably 4, amy was around 6, and Cindy couldn't have been much older than 2. (Did i get that right Mom?) Anyways, Amy was always doing her own thing, would smile here and there for the camera, but she was all business when it came to cookies. I had to tell everyone how to make their cookies, and compliment/critique their work, whether or not they asked for it! And Cindy...well Cindy was just the cutest little raspy voice rosey cheek cookie decorator you can ever imagine. She was talking, but not great, so you have to kind of make-out what she says. And mostly she just ate the icing off her knife, or off the lid of the sprinkles.
My Mom really wanted to make Christmas cookies with her grandbabies this year, and we all thought it was a great idea! The rules were...THERE ARE NO RULES! So us Moms, and Aunt Sissy of course, had to resist the urge to spare a mess, or a stain on their clothes, and just let it all happen and enjoy the experience.

We had so much fun and loved watching the madness as it unfolded. Santa is going to love these cookies!
