Baby Shower for Keller

Sunday was Tori's shower for Keller, who will be here in April. We can't wait to add another boy into this crazy mix! All three of the newest ones were FINALLY in the same place AND awake! That's never happened yet. And of course they're older and much wiser friend Cash was present as well. It was fun to get them all together and to see how different they all are. :) Gavin was a sweet lil boy and let anyone and everyone take a turn holding him. Of course they have to hold him EXACTLY how he likes to be held or he cries! LOL!

Happy 1st Birthday Reagan!

It's hard to believe thar my sweet niece Reagan is already 1 year old! She is growing up too fast! We got together to celebrate with the family and her friends at the Blackburn house. There were tons of kids!

Quality time with Nana and Papa

Friday we went to dinner with Nana and Papa, and Gavin was such a good boy. He was wide awake and happy the entire dinner. When we got home, we got some good shots with both grandparents! Such a sweet smile!

We are so lucky to have such wonderful Grandparents who love Gavin so much. They give up so much of their time, especially Nana, to watch him for me while I work. Its an amazing feeling to have my son only be watched by family every day. I dont think I can ask for anything more!

2 Months in this World

Last Wednesday we went in for your 2 month check-up with Dr Stacy. I have to say that you really like the drs office, and being naked on the table! You just talk and smile and are so sweet...UNTIL...they stick you 3 times and put NASTY medicine in your mouth!

The pics below are obviously BEFORE you were violated and pissed off by the nurse. But now you are vaccinated, and despite all the drama of "whether or not to vaccinate" I believe that it is the safe and responsible thing to do.

Weight: 13lb 15ozs

Height: 24 3/4 in long

You are in the 93% for height among other babies your age! Someone is going to be tall!

A Little Late But...

I loved how many Christmas cards we got this year! And I loved that I was cramming them onto this board. I think it's so cool how many people do photo cards now. :)

Firsts: Formula

I decided that today was the day that we needed to let Gavin try formula. Im doing pretty good with keeping up with pumping for him, but I wanted him to try formula and make sure it doesn't upset his tummy. Im having mixed feelings about adding formula to his diet. I love that Ive been able to keep breastfeeding, and I know that it's the best thing for him. But at the same time I feel that I am killing myself to keep up. If I supplement, I will stress less, which might help to stretch it out longer!

My little man did SO GREAT! No tummy problems, no spitting up...NOTHING! He's such a good baby.

2 Months!

This sweet lil face below is my little 2 month old munchkin! He is getting so BIG! I can't believe that he's already 2 months old, celebrated his first Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year, and is now talking and cooing up a storm! Here are some of the new things you do:

- Sleep 7 hours straight almost every night (although you've been doing since 4 weeks, so this might be old news)

- You are very alert and follow Mom and Dad wherever we go with your eyes.

- You hang onto the links on your play mat and fling them around like crazy.

- You don't mind tummy time, and you have such a strong little neck.

- You love to smile and LOVE to talk back with all your little noises!

These past few days, you have been sick. :(

And I really hate that you are sick. I think Eric and I have been "babying" you even more than we thought possible! But I think you are on the upswing of this nasty cold. Or at least we can hope.

This morning, Eric woke me up before he left (it's my morning off) and asked me if I remember rubbing his chest for like 5 minutes in the middle of the night. I said "Excuse me???" I totally do not remember this, but I guess that I was thinking he was Gavin and I got up to tend to him, but somehow ended up by Eric! Ive never sleep-walked before, so this freaks me out! Eric said that he goes "What are you doing?" and I said "Rubbing your chest" and he goes "Are you dreaming?" and i said "Yes!" Haha! This is all very "Paranormal Activity" to me, and hopefully I dont do it again. Otherwise I guess I just need more sleep!

Happy Birthday to ME!

I love my birthday! I try not to get excited about it anymore, since Im old and Ive had 27 birthdays now, but I can't help it. I still love a good reason to get together with friends and go out!

Eric planned an awesome birthday for me this year. I told him I wanted to go to dinner and to Purple Bar, and he did the rest! He made reservations at Mahogany and reserved a limo to take us there! We kept the dinner pretty small and then headed to Purple Bar to meet the rest of our friends! We haven't had a night out in almost 2 months, so it was much needed and so much fun!
