Emery Grace Blackburn

The Blackburns are now a family of 5! Last Wednesday, May 16th, at 3:21 PM, little Emery was born. She is just perfect, like my other nieces! At 9lbs 8oz, and 19 3/4" long, and tons of dark hair! I am a proud Aunt Kimmy! Cindy and I, along with my Mom and Karen and Kristi (and of course Ryan) were up at the hospital all day. Dad (Grandpa) brought the girls up a little before Emery was born so that they could be there to meet her. 

We now have 5 Grandkids in the family!! 

Crew 3 Months

Mr Crew Warren...you are such a growing boy. Anyone who hasn't seen you in the past week wouldn't even recognize you. I swear you've grown exponentially in about the last 10 days! You skyrocketed out of 0-3 and pretty much even 3 month clothes up to being able to wear 6 month Carter onesies. But we'll get the specifics later. You are still such a happy baby, smiling all the time. And Ive even gotten a giggle or two out of you ( May 28th). We're still working on your love/hate relationship with your carrier, but somedays are better than others. You are doing so great in your bumbo, and weve recently gotten out the exersaucer. If I wrap you in a blanket, you can fit in there enough to hang out for a few minutes. Gavin plays with all the toys on it for you, so you just watch. :) It doesn't seem like it's been 3 months since you were born, but I love watching you grow and learn something new each day! 

We don't go back to the dr until 4 months, so no new stats. But I can tell you that your head has grown exponentially too! Here's some other stats though: 

- Size 2 diapers

- Eating a combo of b-milk and formula, about 5 oz every 3 hours. We're using up the stored b-milk bc I didn't have enough for you and had to stop. :( 

- Size 3-6 mo clothing or 6 mo Carter Onesies. 

- Size 2 shoes, although I never put shoes on you

- Sleeping 8-6 every night. Some nights we have a hiccup, but most nights you are perfect! You go to sleep in your bed on your own. 

- Tried out the exersaucer for the first time on May 27th

- Had your first real tears... :(

All the Fischers Together!

Eric and I have been waiting for this weekend for so long! We have been dying to meet our new nephew Lincoln, and snuggle this sweet boy! I mean, I guess we wanted to see Ray and Jess too! :) j/k! The whole family was finally together for this weekend and we all had a great time with our 3 boys. Friday morning we went to the zoo, then that evening Nana and Papa watched all 3 boys while Eric, Ray, Jess and I went to dinner. We had a great dinner at Mahogany and really enjoyed a night out together! Saturday we had a cookout for Debbie's birthday, and made some awesome food on the grill. Sunday we went to brunch and spent a lazy day inside with all the rain and storms outside.

The trip was way too short, but we look forward to seeing this little munchkin again as soon as possible! In the mean time, we love you little snugglebear Lincoln!

Gavin - 18 Months

My little love...I can't believe he is 18 months old! Time is flying now with 2 of them. I look up and it's someone's next milestone. Im always so shocked at the progress he makes in talking and learning new things almost daily. One of our favorite things about Gavin's age right now is that he will say anything we want him to. He says the names of every family member, and even associates one name with another, for instance, he'll say Mimi, then immediately say "Hailey and Reagan." He points to everyone in pics and knows their name, and he even mimics ways I talk to people. Especially poor Lexi...apparently I tell her NO alot! 

A few things about Gavin lately: 

- Sleeps 8:00 to 7 or 7:30

- Always wakes up talking to us saying "Mommy" "Daddy" "Diaper" and whatever else he can think of to get us up! 

- Wears size 2t bottoms and 3t tops (yes my kid is huge!) 

- Has 4 teeth on top and 2 on bottom (he should have about 12 teeth right now) 

- Wears size 7 shoe

- We are currently obsessed with Elmo, and somewhat still Mickey

- Still such a picky eater, but I try my hardest every day! 

- Says every word I can think of, but some of my faves are the way he says "didodaur" (dinosaur), "wamner" (water), "Too" (Crew) and so many others! 

At this most recent drs appointment, he was such a good boy. He played and was happy the whole time, until he got dressed and thought we were leaving. Then he tried to make his escape and was NOT TOO HAPPY when he couldn't leave before the shots! But the candy got him in a better mood! 

I love this little man so much, and I am blown away each day by how much he cares about his baby brother. Its definitely busy with this one around, but he makes my day so fun that I can't complain! Love you Gavvy!

Oakcrest Spring Program

Gavin had his first school program this week, to end his first year at Oakcrest Mother's Day Out. I absolutely love his school and his teachers and they've taught them so many cute songs and words. His best friend Kyler was also in his class, in the white dress. I got a little bit of video of her too.  My Mom and Dad, as well as Eric and Amy & Ryan were all there to watch, and right before the first song, he recognizes my Dad! I love his clapping at the end!
