Do you know what 100 degree weather feels like? Or better yet, how about 100 degree heat index? Let me tell you just how awesome it is! You can't even go outside to get the mail without breaking a serious sweat! But did we stay inside? No way! We had a golf tournament planned that we didn't wanna miss!
Almost a year ago, we lost a good friend, and his family came up with a way to get everyone together to "Remember Trey" as well as help raise money for the baby girl he left behind. The golf tournament had a huge turnout, over 120 players! It was such a well-planned event, and so much fun! Eric and I played with another twosome, and we teed off around 9:30. by the time we had made it through 6 holes, I was drenched in sweat! And that says a lot b/c I AM NOT a sweater! So Eric started getting worried, but we finished out the 9. When I got inside the clubhouse and cooled off for a sec, I decided that I didn't wanna miss the tournament and that I was probably okay. So I started walking back out to the #10 tee box. Eric saw me and met me halfway. He immediately vetoed my grand plans, and told me to get cool, stay in the clubhouse, and come meet up with them if I wanted to in a bit. So that's what I did! He was definitely right, baby Gavin is way more important than golfing!
Speaking of Gavin, he is gonna be born with some serious muscles b/c all he does all day is jump around in my tummy! He's so busy in there, I just wanna ask what's going on! My back is definitely starting to hurt by the end of each work day, and my energy comes and goes, but I really do feel GREAT for almost 6 months! As far as food cravings, Im still in love with fruit. I eat a piece of fruit almost every day. And so far every piece of seafood I have tried has made me gag. Tonight we are going to Moms for a Crab Boil, and I really hope Gavin changes his mind, b/c I LOVE Crab legs! Guess we'll see!
Thanks for reading!
