Daddy's Day

We had such a great week! Busy...but really great! Friday night we got to spend Jared's birthday with him and Tina. He had one of the most awesome cakes made, which just happens to be Eric and Jared's favorite movie; TRANSFORMERS! This cake is Bumblebee and not only does it look awesome, it lights up and tasted awesome.

Saturday I spent the day at the spa, using my Mother's Day gift from Eric. Then we swam and cooked out with the Nards and Willis's on Saturday night.

Sunday morning, Eric woke up for his first Father's Day with Gavin and I waiting to give him big hugs and make him breakfast! Gavin helped Eric open his gifts, then we made him his favorite breakfast. Several times he offered to make it for us, because it's actually his specialty...but I did a pretty good job!

After french toast and bacon, we went to my Dad's house to swim before the REALLY HOT weather set in. It's been over 100 degrees here every day for over a week, so we knew better than to plan our time outside in the afternoon. We swam for a few hours and played with the kids, then headed home to let Gavin take another nap. We spent the rest of today relaxing and playing and telling Daddy how much we love him!

We missed Ryan and Reagan, but Reagan wasn't feeling well. Hopefully we get to let all the kids swim together soon! Happy Father's Day to my Hubby, my Dad, and Eric's Dad too! Love you all very much!
