About a year and a half ago, Eric and I decided that our crazy life wasn't crazy enough! We wanted to start our family, and we were so excited to do so! Months came and went, and I just kept thinking everything would fall into place and it would happen for us, but after about 8 months of trying...still nothing.
We started looking into what could be the problem in February of 2009, and as far as any dr could find, through various tests, procedures, etc...nothing was wrong. I also ended up taking fertility drugs for a few months. We ran into some problems with Drs that basically over-prescribed my meds and messed my body up bigtime, and I left that Dr.
I found another doctor that I really liked, and we started on my first month of Clomid with her, but in the middle of that month, she had to leave her practice, and I was once again without a doctor. I was devastated, and felt that maybe it just wasn't meant to be right now. The doctor had told me there was one more month of Clomid on my prescription, and if I wanted to take it again, then I could. Well, that was the magic month!! We found out on October 20th that we're having a baby, and Eric and I couldn't be happier!
We're in such a delicate position right now, so we are very ready to see the doctor. My first Dr's appt is on November 10th, and we just wanna make sure everything's okay.
Getting pregnant is like winning the lottery to me, it doesn't come easy for everyone, and I feel like the stars have to align at the exact perfect moment in order for this to happen. I just want these stars to stay aligned b/c what's happening to me is a miracle.

Our story
Eric and I have been married 3 years, and have been so blessed in our lives together! We have a great family, and are always spending time with them. After living in New York for a year together, we moved back to Oklahoma to be with our family. We built our house in 2007, and both have great jobs here close by. Eric works as a trader for Bank of Oklahoma, and I work for Opeco, Inc as an Office Manager. We both love to go to the lake, to watch OU Football, and lazy Sundays together with Lexi (our chocolate lab).
