All I Can Do is Pray...

Christmas Lights! I need your advice...

I spent all day yesterday putting up our Christmas lights! Eric really didn't feel like helping me, but I was determined! So I put the ladder on the side of the house, and strapped some lights to each shoulder and went staple crazy all over the roof. At first I was afraid I would fall, but after awhile, and a few close calls, I was moving around that rooftop so quickly, people thought I was the Mexican hired help! Lexi kept a good watch on me, and made sure I didn't fall. She's a good dog! Here's the finished product...Ive never done it all on my own, so Im so proud!



Okay, so anyone who believed that is really gullible! :) I was absolutely not EVER on a ladder yesterday and Eric did ALL the hard work! My job was the snowflakes and the yard lights! I think we're gonna add some more red and and blue though, but other than that, we're finished! Yay Christmas!

Team Edward...Team Jacob?...

My obsession with Twilight is not quite as extreme as the screaming teens that beg Edward to "bite them," but I am definitely a fan! I bought tickets two months ago for "New Moon" and yesterday was finally the day! I attached some fun pics of the event!

Movie was great! And we had a great time.

Eric also got home from his week away for work, and Hailey came over to play for the evening. She had lots of fun with her "Aweec" and dancing and watching "toons."

Ready for the Holiday Season

Brrrr....that's all I can say about today. I can take the cold, and I can handle snow, but WIND puts me in a very bad mood! I think I get that from my Mom. She gets very MAD about windy cold, and so do I.

Before you say it...No I am not moody! I still haven't felt much change in my mood or appetite or anything besides my sleeping habits.

Mood = Im always right, as usual
Appetite = I like food
Sleep = Bedtime is at 8, dont call me after that time.

Im just about back to my 7 week mark. Ive already hit this mark once, but I guess I'll do it again for the baby's sake.

This week, Eric is out of town for work, so I will be spending time with anyone who wants to hang out so Im not alone! And then this Friday Im very pumped for the second movie in the Twilight series to come out. Yay New Moon with my sisters and Dana! And then Saturday evening we have my work "Pre-Holiday" Party. It should be a good time, I always enjoy giving money to Remington Park. If I won, it would be more fun, but I cheer real loud for the underdogs and hope they win so I win some big money!

It's For Real!

Pretty much the most excited Ive ever been! Everything looked great at our ultrasound this morning, and Eric and I could see the tiny heartbeat and our little bean in there!

Our new doctor, Dr. Kallenberger is so great! Eric and I have a really good feeling about him, and he was very thorough and knowledgeable. Based on the size of the baby, we're only 6 weeks along, so the new due date is July 6th! A Firecracker Baby! Yay!

Thanks for all the prayers, and Im gonna keep praying that everything continues to be perfect!!

"You're Gonna Be a Good Mom" - Eric

Tuesday evening I brought home this Halloween treat, that one of my bosses, Gwyn, had made for her son. He didn't want it, so she gave it to me.

It's the little hand with caramel corn and the fake spider on it. So, we didn't eat it that night, and when I came home the next day, Eric had found the spider and the orange ribbon on the floor. He thought I was trying to scare him with the spider, but what we came to find out, was that Lexi had taken it off the counter and devoured everything, INCLUDING the wrapper!!

We were a little shocked that she ate the plastic, but decided she'll probably be fine....until this morning. At 4:30 AM, I wake up to Lexi gagging and then proceeding to throw up. I immediately jump up and turn on lights and Im cleaning it up and examining what it could be...well of course it's the wrapper. Yuck! As Im cleaning...Eric says from underneath the covers..."You're gonna be a good Mom" and then falls back asleep! It made me laugh!
