Crew 7 Months

My Baby Crew, 

In the past month, you have worked hard to perfect some things you've once had trouble with! I love how well you sit up now, and how much you "worm" your way around the living room floor. Last month you couldn't hardly sit up for 10 seconds. This month, you are so grabby with toys, food, and drinks, and you sit up for endless amounts of time. You have mastered puffs, and you actually get mad if you see them and I dont give them to you. You are seriously thinking about crawling, but I urge you to take ur time. I feel that my world will be rocked when you decide to take off. I can't imagine what you and your brother will be into when I turn my back! 

Your new thing is laughing SO HARD at Gavin when he does funny things. Like when he dances around you, or screams or starts laughing, you immediately start laughing too. It can definitely turn a stressful day around in a heartbeat! 

At 7 Months you: 

- wear size 3, but are switching to 4 diapers

- wear size 3 shoes

- still in 12 month pajamas and 9 month onesies, 9 month pants

- sleep 7:30 - 7 or later every morning

- seriously need to give up your carrier, but im having a hard time doing so

- are starting to get upset if Gavin takes away your toy. you know what you want

- can pick up puffs, and are working on picking up sippie cups

- started holding your bottle last week 

- eat 4 5-oz bottles a day. But you hardly ever finish them. You like food better

- still eating the same foods a day

- scoot all over the living room. you'll be crawling any day

- still haven't had any juice, just water and formula

- love your feet

Thats about all I can think of, but what I do know for sure is that I love you so so so much! 

Fair Fun!

The fair is in town, the fair is in town!! I actually don't get this excited about the fair anymore bc more often the not, the germs, carneys, and crowds wear me out now that we have kids! But I made it twice this year, once with Eric, and once with the girls. Both times were lots of fun!

Im on a constant mission to get smiley pics of me and the boys. It almost never happens though, mostly because of this: 

"Gavin Smile!" 

Me: "No! Keep your eyes open!" G: "Eyes?" 

 So mostly we just make faces instead!

Baby Fever

NOT ME PEOPLE! I definitely dont have baby fever. :) But some of my great friends are having and have just had babies! I get so excited for Gavin and Crew to get some new friends! 

I helped throw Liz Day's baby shower for Miss Emma due mid-October!

My friend Tori had her 2nd little boy, Kooper, in August. I took Crew over to see him with me, and we laughed at the fact that my giant next to her newborn resembles a picture we took when her first son was born and I just had Gavin!

1st day of School - Year Two!

So I know these pics aren't that great, but it's virtually impossible to get Gavin to cooperate for pics. Gavin started his second year at Oakcrest Mother's Day Out this year. It's 3 days a week, and he has so much fun! Kyler came over to take pics before we took them to school.

Crew at 6 Months

Crew Baby Bear:

My little lovie, I can't believe you have been here for 1/2 a year! Our family wouldn't know what life was like without you, that is for sure. I fall more in love every day with the way your brother takes care of you and how much you love him and laugh at him! Biggest news of this month: you are outgrowing your carseat faster than I can deal with the situation! Your feet almost hang over the edge, and I swear the carrier weighs 50 lbs. I can barely lift it, yet we go run all over town every day. I don't know how I am going to handle the two of you when I can't set one of you down and know you'll still be there when I turn around! I guess our outings will be a lot more orchestrated from now on!

Weight: 18lbs 6oz (69%)

Height: 28" (95%)

Head: 17 3/4" (93%)

At 6 Months, you:

- wear size 3 diapers
- wear 12 month jammies, and 9 month onesies
- we still dont wear shoes much, but i would say you are a 2-3
- sleep 8 -7 every night, and roll and flip all over your bed
- sleep with a lovie and your binky
- laugh so hard when you are tickled
- are still a little startled at loud noises, but getting much better
- still take 3 naps a day (9am, 1pm, and 4:30pm)
- eat 4 5-oz bottles a day, plus cereal, a veggie, then a veggie and fruit for the day
- have tried some puffs, but can't pick them up on your own
- are sitting up for about a minute at a time before you fall again! You would rather just stand!
- are my chunky boy that I love so much!
