Scrubs are easy to find, but I had to call around a little to find a hospital gown. Finally I found a medical supply store, and when I walked in and told the lady that I needed to buy a hospital gown, she looked me up and down and said "Oh honey, they'll give you one when you get there!" LOL! I was like "Yea I know...it's for a Halloween costume!" It was pretty hilarious how concerned for me she was, thinking that I have no clue what Im getting myself into if I think I need to BUY my own hospital gown!!
I only lasted a few minutes in the gown though, b/c it was like a tent, and was blowing all over the place!
So as soon as I got tired of it, I told everyone that I was changing into my "Post-Baby" outfit, and that Gavin was doing great! :)
Amy and I with her awesome 80s costume! Love the bangs!
Eric, Annie (who is actually Annie's husband Chad), and Jonathan who is Woody!
Aren't they so cute?
Me and my honey! He's a sexy doctor!
"Joe Dirt" and "Dr Fischer"
We didn't stay long at the party, but it was a fun time!
Gavins room update: Amy made me some really cute wall letters! I hung them a few nights ago, and I think they look so good! With all the laundry done and put away, all the decorating done (for now) and our baby bag packed...guess all there is to do is WAIT!
Gavin update: So I guess this little guy isn't gonna be so little...or at least that's what Dr K is saying. I asked him on Monday how big he thought Gavin might be, and he said he expects an 8lb baby. And that he's very long. Im not surprised about the length since Eric and I are so tall, but I hope he's not underestimating the weight! He's already possibly gonna skip right through all the cute newborn clothes I have for him! Oh well, Im just excited for him to be here, whenever he decides to show up!
If I dont go into labor before the 14th, then Dr K said he would induce that week. Since the 14th is a Sunday, I pretty much TOLD him that induction date would be the 15th! He kinda laughed when I said it, but Im very serious! :) But we'll just hold out and hope that he comes on his own.
Ive been going on walks a few times hoping that we're making some progress, but tying my shoes wears me out. Sometimes I get that far, and then give up and stay home!
Only 11 more days!
