Congratulations to the Days!
Eric and I are up for any excuse for a good trip, some great friends, and awesome wine!! (well i like the wine anyway). We took a trip to Napa a few weeks ago, for the wedding of some of our best friends, Mitch and Liz "Day"!! Eric and I got into Napa late Tuesday night after an eventful day of travelling, delays, and finally a long car ride from San Fran airport to the Vino Bello Resort in Napa. We met everyone at the bar that evening to toast to the start of wedding week (although some of them had already been celebrating for a few days). Then the next morning, the girls headed out for a day of pedicures, lunch and shopping, while the guys went golfing for the day.

That evening was the rehearsal. We all got back from our busy days, got ready, and then headed to V. Sattui Winery for the rehearsal. The winery was beautiful, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting. After the rehearsal, we had dinner in a wine cave at our hotel. The dinner was very nice, and the cave was probably the coolest place I've eaten EVER!

The day of the wedding, the guys golfed...again...and the girls just hung out and got ready, had brunch, etc. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and the weather couldn't have cooperated more perfectly. Liz and Mitch were so happy and giddy the entire night, and it was so awesome to be a part of their special day!
Isn't she beautiful?

The Happy Days
The next morning, about 30 of us went on a tour of Sterling Winery, which is a huge and beautiful winery. You take a tram up to the top of the winery, and then tour from there. The whole experience was really fun, and the wine was great! Eric and I ordered too much wine to send home, but as long as we don't drink it in a day, I think we're good!

After the wine tour, we headed to Gotts/Taylors Hamburgers, which is a famous hamburger joint, with amazing shakes, garlic fries and some pretty interesting seafood burgers and tacos. We ate outside on picnic tables, and hung out until we needed to head back to the buses.
Mitch found his street!

The trip was so much fun, and we couldn't be happier for Mitch and Liz. I definitely recommend a trip to wine country if the opportunity ever comes up! Especially if you like wine...
