We had a great Easter weekend!! Easter festivities take on a whole new meaning when you have a baby that can participate! We have another year before we get Gavin to understand what Easter is REALLY about, so this year we opted for eggs and hunting.
Saturday we spent some time at Nana and Papa's house, and Gavin got an Easter basket from them that he LOVED! He especially loved the balloon until the fan KILLED it! Then we went home and decorated Easter eggs. This part of our Easter festivities was mostly a disaster, but Gavin had so much fun that we didn't care how it all turned out. Instead of dropping the eggs into the cups, he wanted to THROW them in. Instead of admiring the eggs, he wanted to THROW them across the counter. You can see that the general theme of the evening was "Throwing." So if we embraced this theme, then the night went great!
Sunday we opened Easter baskets from the Easter bunny and Uncle Ray and Aunt Jess. Then we spent the afternoon at Uncle Ryan and Aunt Mimi's. All the kids had so much fun, hunting eggs and eating all their candy!

What a fun Easter! Great pics! Rebecca wanted to throw and shake every egg plastic or real! LOL! She colored a few eggs but that was the extent of her decorating! Love and miss you!
