There...I said it....
Ask me again in 5 years if it's finished yet. I have no idea why I have this urge to write a book, but its there and it has potential. I don't think I want to put anything personal out there, so it would be totally fiction. Im going for a beach read...or a good "book club" book. A cross between Lauren Weisberger's silly but page-turning dramatics, and Jodi Picoult's captivating way of getting to you with EVERY BOOK! Disclaimer: I will NOT pull a "Jodi Picoult" at the end of my book! See below for definition:
Jodi Picoult - "pulls at your heartstrings for the entire book, makes you love the characters, gives you the happily ever after...then BAM, that person dies on pg 249 of 250."
I have thrown many a Jodi Picoult books across the room when Im finished bc she just rips your heart out and leaves you with the "about the author" section to try and pull it together before you close the book. It sucks and I just won't do it.
All of that being said, I have absolutely no clue what it will be about, or when I will even have time to write a book. But if I write it, you'll know about it!

ReplyDeleteDo it! I have toyed with this idea many times...and then a sibling rivalry breaks out and my dreams are kicked to the curb. Ha ha! I can't wait to read it!
