MAJOR Update!

I can't hold it in anymore! Eric and I are so excited to report that we are having a baby! After over a year and a half of waiting, and some very difficult times through all of this, our miracle is on the way! We obviously have kept this to ourselves for quite some time, and now that I am almost out of the first trimester, we feel comfortable celebrating with our friends and family.

We have been to the dr several times, and he is monitoring me very closely for any changes. But so far, he says there is no cause for concern. The real miracle behind all of this is that there were no fertility drugs involved. It's not that I am against them at all, but the fact that it could happen without the drugs means that my body might actually cooperate with me for once. Im definitely having all the early pregnancy symptoms, but there was a time that I have begged for symptoms to be present, and I won't take it back now! Amy says "it's just your baby saying HELLO!" in hopes that it makes me feel better! LOL

Our due date is November 14th, and that seems to be a popular month for babies! I can't believe we'll have a baby to celebrate the holidays with this year!

Im playing catch up a little bit with some ultrasound and belly pics below. :)

6 1/2 week ultrasound - pretty much nothing but the yolk sac and fetal pole
7 1/2 week ultrasound - no clue what we've got going on here, but if the Dr says we're good, I believe him!

6 weeks

8 weeks
10 weeks 4/18/10

10 week ultrasound 4/19/10 - This was by far the most amazing ultrasound b/c it actually LOOKS like a baby! Not to mention we have a dancing baby on our hands! It was so cool to see him/her moving arms and legs all around!!

12 weeks - gettin a lil chunky! ;)

The awesome present from Mitch and Liz! It will look so cute on a boy or girl! Thanks!

I still pray every night for a healthy happy and growing baby. It's in God's hands now, and we're pretty comfortable with that! :) Keep growing little Baby Fischy!

Congratulations to the Bolens!

Busy busy weekend! Mitch and Liz came to stay with us, and we were very happy to have them! Saturday we went to Rhett and Elizabeth's wedding, which was so much fun!

Group shot!

We love houseguests!

Love this picture b/c Eric looks so handsome

Great weekend with great friends!

Intro to Gardening

Seeing as how this is our 3rd spring in our house, you would think I would have the gardening thing down! But NO, I struggle every summer with dying plants, mopey flowers, and a general lack of ability to garden. And every year, Eric tells me that he will not be letting me garden again the next year, b/c we might as well just buy them and dump them in the trash!

But I am deteremined! We planted again last weekend, and Im going to be out there every day willing these babies to grow!

Mailbox Hydrangeas (sp?)

Island Begonias

Front porch potted plant, dont ask me what they are, I already forgot

Back porch, dyanthis, vinca vine, hyacinth, and sun coleus...maybe!

Closer look at the big pots - so pretty now, please dont die!
They look nothing like Christen Foster's beautiful flowers, but I think she has a leg up on me! :)

Promise

I promise Im working on some major blogging! Gimme a few more days for one, and maybe another week for another! Im a slacker lately! In the mean time, Cindy sent me this link for this set of classic books, and since we all know that I will one day have a huge library in my house, I thought I should show you all what will be added to my collection. These books are called the Penguin Classics, and they are clothbound books, that I seriously cannot wait to own! They are so beautiful, and I also have very good intentions of reading them all!

Some titles include: Great Expectations, Crime and Punishment, Oliver Twist, Wuthering Heights, etc. Im getting really excited to start ordering these and eventually own the whole collection!

Happy Reading!

Most Beautiful Wedding!

This past weekend was such a great weekend for our family! We finally officially have another member! Ray and Jess's wedding in Charleston, SC was probably the prettiest and most elegant wedding I have ever been to.

The wedding took place at Lowndes Grove, right near the water, close to downtown Charleston. The plantation was beautiful! The rehearsal dinner was at an awesome southern restaurant called "Poogan's Porch." Ive attached several pics of the weekend below:

We had such a great trip, and I definitely recommend Charleston for a vacation. The city is small but has lots going on, and tons of food and shopping! My kinda place!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

We had a great Easter this year! We went to church with Dad, then met Amy and Ryan at my Dad's house to let Hailey hunt Easter Eggs! Reagan is too little, so she just wanted to hang out with Aunt Kimmy. :)

She would find one, and then want to walk to the OTHER side of the yard to get another one!

Happy Baby

Playing with all her eggs and candy

We also had birthday cake for Eric's birthday! I love cookie cake

Thanks for Reading!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

This weekend, I went to Sommer's Bachelorette Party in Tulsa, OK. We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel, which is SOOO nice! The girls reserved an amazing suite for all of us, and we had a table at "Club Friction," which is apparently the craziest club in Catoosa. LOL!

I think Sommer had a pretty good time! And I had a blast!
