Im just wondering if these two girls can get any cuter! I went over to Amy and Ryan's and just happened to hang out during bathtime! They are both such happy girls and felt like taking pics, so I jumped right in and got some cute ones!

Golfing on the SUN!
Do you know what 100 degree weather feels like? Or better yet, how about 100 degree heat index? Let me tell you just how awesome it is! You can't even go outside to get the mail without breaking a serious sweat! But did we stay inside? No way! We had a golf tournament planned that we didn't wanna miss!
Almost a year ago, we lost a good friend, and his family came up with a way to get everyone together to "Remember Trey" as well as help raise money for the baby girl he left behind. The golf tournament had a huge turnout, over 120 players! It was such a well-planned event, and so much fun! Eric and I played with another twosome, and we teed off around 9:30. by the time we had made it through 6 holes, I was drenched in sweat! And that says a lot b/c I AM NOT a sweater! So Eric started getting worried, but we finished out the 9. When I got inside the clubhouse and cooled off for a sec, I decided that I didn't wanna miss the tournament and that I was probably okay. So I started walking back out to the #10 tee box. Eric saw me and met me halfway. He immediately vetoed my grand plans, and told me to get cool, stay in the clubhouse, and come meet up with them if I wanted to in a bit. So that's what I did! He was definitely right, baby Gavin is way more important than golfing!
Speaking of Gavin, he is gonna be born with some serious muscles b/c all he does all day is jump around in my tummy! He's so busy in there, I just wanna ask what's going on! My back is definitely starting to hurt by the end of each work day, and my energy comes and goes, but I really do feel GREAT for almost 6 months! As far as food cravings, Im still in love with fruit. I eat a piece of fruit almost every day. And so far every piece of seafood I have tried has made me gag. Tonight we are going to Moms for a Crab Boil, and I really hope Gavin changes his mind, b/c I LOVE Crab legs! Guess we'll see!
Thanks for reading!

Surprise Anniversary Date!
We had a great weekend! It started with a lil shopping in Dallas with Mom, Eric and I. Then Saturday evening, Eric had a special night planned for us for our anniversary. I had no idea what we were doing or where we were going, but we pulled up to a beautiful hotel in downtown Dallas called "The Crescent." Not only did he book us at this amazing hotel, but through a friend at work, got us upgraded to the Presidential Suite!
The 2nd story is all the master suite area
What do people DO with all this space?!

We stopped for a drink (well, water for me) at Nobu, in our hotel, before dinner. We couldnt eat there b/c I can't have anything raw, and Im not the biggest fan of fish lately! I thought it might be a little bit of a waste to eat at such an amazing place without fully experiencing it. Then we headed to dinner at Local. Eric thought of everything, he even had a driver take us there and back! The whole night was so perfect!

A card and cake waiting for us when we got to the room
After we looked around for a bit, Eric had another surprise, and we went down to the spa and got couples massages. The spa did a great prenatal massage for me, and both of us were blown away with how nice the spa was! Afterwards, we headed back to get ready for dinner.

Bittersweet
Today is a little bittersweet for me...I always try to look for the best in things, and think of the glass as being half full. I love my life, I love that baby Gavin is on the way and doing great, but in the back of my mind, this day has a little cloud over it.
Today was my original due date for our first baby. I don't ever want to forget this baby, and I know that he or she is with God now. And I know that this is the way it was meant to be. For me, I just needed to acknowledge today for what it is...
An angel in the book of life wrote down my baby's birth. And whispered as she closed the book "too beautiful for earth."
