Speaking of 32 weeks, I am now officially in the home stretch! I start going to see Dr. Kallenberger every 2 weeks from here on out, until 36, then I go once a week. Gavin is doing great, and definitely growing! His kicks are getting stronger, and sometimes he knocks whatever Ive set on my stomach all the way OFF! It's pretty funny, and when Eric sees it, he cracks up at me! Gavin is definitely taking all my energy from me, but somehow I balance that out with some insane cleaning and organizing. If I dont sit down, I could go for hours of cleaning and organizing. But once I hit the couch for a rest, Im DONE! Eric has to move the coffee table close to me so I can reach my chocolate milk without moving!! Oh and by the way, I drink a chocolate milk a day...yes that's correct! It's amazing, and Eric makes it the BEST! At least Im giving Gavin tons of Calcium...we'll just forget about the chocolate part!

A few Maternity pics
Amy wanted to test out some maternity pictures this past week! We only got a few good ones b/c we had "bad lighting." Those were Amy's words, not mine! Here are a few cute ones that we got. We plan to do a few more, so I hope she's happier with the next ones. For now, here's Gavin and I at 32 weeks!

More Football Fun
I guess I should say we've been lucky this year, no 100 degree games. But I still think 90 degrees is a little much for me and Gavin! We are powering through though, and it's because we love OU Football so much! We've had 3 home games in a row, so I feel like our entire week revolves around recovering from last week, preparing for this weekend, and then Saturday game day again. It's a blast, but Im looking forward to a weekend of being COOL!

The boys are ready for the Florida State Game!

Sister pic at the tailgate! We don't take enough of these
My favorite person to tailgate with...we're on the same level!

Go Sooners!

So happy with my personal fan

Hailey and her new sunnies! She's ready to "see the Sooners!"
Waiting to get on the elevator!

Ryan wanted us to have a family pic too!

I was so excited for the OU/Air Force game, b/c I LOVE flyovers! They had the most amazing flyover of F-15s before the game, and it gave me chills! Gavin you have already experienced your first FLYOVER! Wow! Sadly, we didn't make it much further than the beginning of the game. I was so hot and sweaty, and the humidity was killing me. So I decided that it would be smarter of us to go home and watch the game so I could cool off. I wouldn't wanna upset Gavin again. :)
We're 3-0, let's keep it going Sooners!

Fall is here! (at least in my mind)
Yay for Football! This is absolutely the best time of the year! I love Fall...and I think my true appreciation for Fall comes from my Mom! She makes us stop and take time to watch the trees change, and she loves to decorate for fall!
I love the pretty leaves, and they should start changing soon!
I love that Thanksgiving is coming up, and we can start making delicious things like Pumpkin Cheesecake Rolls, and Sweet potatoes, and Pumpkin Bread...yummy!Last weekend, Sept 4th, was the first OU Football game! We played Utah State and of course we won. Overall, the Sooners didn't look that great, but at least they won. The weather was pretty perfect, low 90s at the start of the game. I was pumped about the weather cooperating for me and Gavin. I get so hot and so uncomfortable, and I wouldn't have made it very long if we weren't in the shade.
30 weeks!
I took this picture about a week ago, right around 30 weeks. I put on my clothes and decided that I literally have a bowling ball in my tummy! More than anything, it just made me laugh b/c Im sooo not used to seeing my side profile like this! I know that there is more growing to come though, so Im prepared!
Clothes are becoming a bit of an ordeal, and I have mini, depressing fashion shows every morning trying to find something that fits and doesn't accentuate anything negative! Im just ready for winter so that I can wear tights every day, which are way more comfy than any of my capris.

I am soooo looking forward to this weekend, when we have my first of two baby showers for Gavin. Im ready to organize his room and really get things going in there! Ive ordered some really cute stuff for the walls, and very soon I plan to update everyone on the room. In the mean time, I just walk in his room all the time and think about how much our lives are about to change! I can't wait for there to be a lil baby boy making noise in our house and messing up the place! But maybe not messing it up too much since I'm kind of a clean freak!
Fair warning Gavin: "You WILL have chores and your room WILL be clean every day before you get to play outside!" (There, that was my best shot at being a disciplinary)
We have another Drs appt this week, and I think this will be my last time to go 4 weeks in between appts. It's crazy how fast this time is flying! Gavin you will be here in just a few short months!

Love for Baby Liam
Today we threw a shower for Elizabeth and Garett's baby boy, Liam! I am so excited that Gavin will have a partner in crime that is so INSANELY close in age! Liz is due around Nov 1st, so with any luck, they will both be November babies.
We did a sports-themed shower, and I have to say that the credit for the cake and diaper cake go to Trisha! She did an awesome job with both. The cake was actually an ice cream cake, which was a little tricky, and very messy, but SO GOOD! The baseball, hat, and bat on top were actually made of rice krispie treats, and the whole cake was so cute.

29 Weeks, Is it the 3rd Trimester Yet?
So Im horrible with all of this counting trimesters and months and such, so I'll just tell you that Im 29 weeks, and you can figure out the rest!
Things have still been so great, and the only change I have noticed in recent weeks is becoming a little more tired. I don't have quite the energy I wish I had, but Im making do and enjoying my pregnancy! Gavin weighs somewhere around 2.5 lbs, according to my weekly updates I get. So what Im wondering is.....what's with the other 17.5? :) I don't really feel bigger anywhere but my tummy, and maybe my butt/thigh area.
I also took my glucose test this past Thursday, drank some pretty disgusting flat oversweetened Orange drink, and sadly, have no clue whether I passed or not! Haha! Hopefully I get some results tomorrow!

Stroller Adventures
This week we are definitely getting into "baby readiness" mode! We've got to start working on the nursery, and get organized! First on the list was to put together the stroller. Eric got everything out, and at first he was doing it all on his own. He had 3/4 of it put together, and then when he got to the rear wheels, I decided to get in the way of his progress. So we found these two pieces that we COULD NOT get to fit anywhere. We checked the diagram of all the parts that are included...wasn't on there.
We went step by step through all the directions...no random spoke looking thing mentioned anywhere! So finally Eric gives in.
E: "Well, I guess we're just not using these then!"
K: "I dont know how I feel about NOT using some of the included parts for our baby's stroller!"
So once again, we search the manual, examine the entire area, and conclude that there's NO WAY these parts belong to our stroller! Eric puts it upright, and starts wheeling it around the house. He parks it in front of me and then proceeds to break down the box. So Im messing around with it, and I try out the brakes. I push down on both back wheels, and.....NOTHING! We have no brakes!
K: Umm...babe...the brakes don't work!
E: What do you mean the brakes don't work?
K: Well, Im pushing them and nothing is happening. I guess those parts have to do with brake, so we need to figure out how to get them on there!
E: KIM! They dont fit, I guess we're just not gonna have brakes!
At this point, I immediately start cracking up laughing and tell him there's no way we can NOT have brakes for the stroller! Finally he agrees and starts taking off the back wheels again. I dont know what was different this time, but we got it to fit, and now Gavin will safely stay PUT when we need him to!
