East Coast Travelers

What a week! I think I needed that vacation more than I realized I could ever need a vacation! We started out heading to Manhattan on Friday morning to see Ray and Jess. That day we shopped and walked around midtown, then headed to have drinks at a rooftop bar. From the bar, we ate an amazing dinner at Convivio in Tudor City.

Sorry for the silly pic, but you guys look so cute I had to post!

Walking around in Tudor City, that area is so cool Jess wanted to try out the bike!

Yankee Game Day!
Saturday we planned our whole day around going to the Yankees/Red Sox game. We got up and took our time, then headed uptown. I can't believe how nice the new stadium looks, and how fast it was built! It is an entirely new experience coming to the games now. We had lunch at the NYY Steakhouse, which was pretty good, and then headed down to walk around the stadium.

Our seats were PERFECT, in the shade right off third base. It would've been even more perfect if my boyfriend A Rod was playing, b/c he's 3rd base! and he's right next to my other boyfriend Derek Jeter! But either way it was great.

Before we ever got to the game, Jess brought up something about those Italian Ices or the lemon freeze things. And i decided that I would have one of those at the game! So in about the 4th inning, I wanted to go find one. Eric and I asked a couple of people and everyone kept saying that it was "just a little further down" or "sorry we're out, but they have them down there." Before we knew it, we had walked the entire length of the stadium with no luck. So then of course I pretty much threw a 1st grade fit and pouted all the way back to my seat. Eric felt really bad for me, but he tried to offer me everything else under the sun and I just wasn't having it.
A few innings later, I see a lady about 4 sections away who is yelling out that she has lemon ices! I was like "CAN THIS BE TRUE?" So I get all excited and Eric and I watch her slowly make her way up and down the rows selling TONS of them along the way. FINALLY, she makes it to our row, and after the money and icee are passed back and forth by like 10 people (ewww germs)...I have my Lemon Ice! WooHoo! I was a happy girl!

The pool sharks...not really

Sunday we spent the day shopping around SoHo, and I even got my celebrity sighting fix when we saw Alicia Keys and her new hubby at "Antique Garage" for lunch! I love to see celebs, so that was a perfect end to the trip! Ray and Jess were the best hosts, and we had so much fun with them! It has definitely been way too long since we've been to New York together, and I hope we don't wait that long again!
After our weekend in New York, we headed to Florida to spend some quality beach and pool time with our favorite Floridians! It was such a relaxing week of just hanging out, a little fishing, and some beach and pool time!

Eric and his Dad golfed one morning, and since Ive been banned from Golfing by Eric (he's overprotective), I wanted to go watch! So Debbie and I followed them around and had a blast cracking up at the two of them sabotoging their games!

Our last day in Navarre, we headed towards Destin to watch the cigarette boats that were entered in the Poker Run that spans from Destin to Pensacola. These boats were amazing, and some came all the way from California and New York! We ate at a fun waterfront restaurant called "Fish Lips" and watched the boats come through.
My amazing Mother-In-Law!

Look how tan they are?!

The most awesome boat there, a HUGE Jet boat!

Can they make it?
Although I dont like Orange, this is pretty awesome
Thanks to everyone who made our trip amazing! We needed the break, and had an awesome time!
