5 Months

Happy 5 months!! Baby Gavin is not going to be a baby much longer! He is flying through these months and surprising Eric and I every day! His little smiles and giggles melt my heart, and the way he watches us wherever we go and talks to us all the time is so fun, and you can literally see him learning new things. Here are some milestones we've hit. (or at least they are milestones to us!) - Gavin can sit up on his own for several seconds, maybe even minutes if he doesn't get too distracted. - He finally found his feet! When we hung out with Kyler and Liam last time, they grabbed onto their feet so often and Gavin has never cared to do that. Well, one day he just started grabbing and playing with them! - He watches Lexi all the time and I feel like they are destined to be best friends. She lets him pet her, and I even put him on top of her all the time so that when he starts crawling all over her she will be used to it. I think they would share toys if I would let it happen. - Gavin's feet are HUGE! He's already almost a size 3 shoe, which to me, is really big! He's also in 6-12 and 6-9 month clothing for the most part bc he's SO TALL! - He still shows no preference when someone new holds him. He's very easy-going in that aspect! - We've got a good sleeper, usually at least 10 hours straight a night, then a bottle and another 2 hours. - He is trying lots of foods now, and liking several of them. Some, not so much! (see "Food Chronicles") Eric and I think he is JUST PERFECT! And why wouldn't we?? :) Here's some pics I took yesterday for his 5 months...I am no photographer but I thought they were pretty cute!

Last night was his first night to have a bath in the real bathtub! He really liked it, although until he can stay sitting up, he'll still be in his little bath in the big bath! But I dont think he minds!
