Improptu Easter Bunny

So I've never been one to care much about getting pics done at the mall with Santa or the Easter Bunny or whatever. Not that Im against it, just that I HATE waiting in those lines!! And the pagers they supposedly give you so you can shop and then come back...but then you come back and there are several people who are just standing there giving you the evil eye. Or maybe you decide to wait so you have to sit there and watch parent after parent try and force a smile out of their screaming child!! I mean really? Just get the screaming picture and move on, those are the best ones anyway!

But when Eric and I were at the mall a few weeks ago, we just happened to dress our lil man in the cutest golf outfit in honor of the masters. (Who says you can't have fun dressing a little boy??) Eric noticed the Easter Bunny downstairs and there were only about 8 people in line. He decided that we should try it out, and that he would go stand in line for a few minutes while I shopped then came to meet him. Gavin had been such an angel all morning so we knew we might be pushing our luck, but when we set him with the Easter Bunny, he gave us the biggest smiles and was so happy! The funniest part is that I dont think he ever knew who or what was holding him! He never once turned around to look at the bunny, he just smiled at his Mommy and Daddy!

It turned out to be a great idea on Eric's part!!
